Hello lovelies… and hello Spring!! :0) I’ve decided to switch up my posts a little with this entry by sharing a few cards from a deck I really enjoy using and just passing on some positive vibes. (I will have more “mini interviews” coming up over the next month or so and thought it would be nice to talk a little about springtime). Where I live (Canada), we are starting to have some longer days and warmer weather, which is always a nice change after snow! I also think it’s a good time to start doing some cleansing within and around the home. I also think of Spring being a time to reconnect with people and find more joy in the outdoors too. I asked my guides to help me pick some cards from the Pixiekins: A Daily Inspiration Deck, by Paulina Cassidy. With its cute characters and colourful drawings, I thought this would be a fun deck to use to get those “spring” energies flowing. So below I have pictures of the four cards I pulled and hope that you can find some special messages and meanings in them as well. :0)
_________
The first card is Sir Cider Dutchington… and as the card shows, it is a sweet rabbit playing what looks to be a banjo. He is just having a good time and is sitting amongst some beautiful flowers. I love this card as the first one to get us going! It is a general reminder to worry less… the season is changing which in turn will bring lots of new energies and opportunities forward. It is meant to be an exciting time, and during this time with all the extra energy from things like more sunshine and flowers blooming, it is time to get more creative! Nature is taking the opportunity to create more colours and vibrancy in our world, so in turn we should do the same. Craft, colour, paint, dance, sing… whatever brings you some joy and happiness. This card is meant as a reminder that now is the time to have some fun. Listen (or even create) some songs.. some lyrics… poetry, or even a book! However you create… do more of that and create space for fun and joy and peace, while leaving the anxieties and worries locked away.

Our next card with Crystal Tourmaline and Haru is used as an important reminder that energies flow wherever our attention goes, which I think is very fitting to the above card as well. If we are focusing on worries, then worries are all we will see and attract even more in general. Whereas if we focus on joy, peace and patience, then more energy is given into that and we in turn see and feel more of that internally and see it externally as well. I also like how in this card the little witch has a magic glow or protective barrier orbiting around her. I think this is a gentle reminder to protect one’s energies as well and really pay attention to the energies that surround you at this time… and work on keeping mentally, spiritually, physically, and emotionally protected and energetically balanced. Springtime is a great time to cleanse whatever energies are negatively impacting you and surround yourself with positive people, places (and things), to keep your energies up and positive. :0)
___________
Our third card, Mira, is a wonderful card for Spring. I love the little mermaid fairy. She just seems very sweet and curious in this card, which I believe to be a wonderful energy! She is perfect for springtime… even going into summer. She reminds us to enjoy water energies, like baths, waterfalls, pools… even diving boards (maybe)! ;0) It’s one of those cards that makes me think about the ice melting and how overgrown paths start clearing with the changing season. So nature is awakening to new temperatures and human and animal energies… so we should be curious to see the changes and approve of new opportunities coming forward…whether that’s with new people, job situations, etc. This card is a great reminder to step outside of your comfort zone, so you can discover new magic within you, and more importantly, around you. ;0)
_________
This brings us to our fourth and final card for today… with WInnie, Tangles and Zinfandel. I enjoy the image on the card (below) so much! The girl’s eyes make me think of someone a little mischievous and maybe even somewhat cunning. I love the energy! She has her cat wrapped around her legs while also holding a flamingo. In some instances I would be worried that the cat and bird would fight or a chase would occur. However, as this card suggests, you need to “believe in impossible things”. Therefore, why couldn’t a flamingo and cat get along? LOL! Additionally, when reading the word ‘Zinfandel’ on the card, I think of that type of wine… so it makes me think of relaxing and being in a moment of quiet meditation where anything is possible! There is a strong, silent confidence about Winnie that I think is what draws me in with this card the most. She doesn’t seem to have a concern in the world and even though the little, orange cat underneath her feet looks a bit mischievous… she does not appear bothered by him. This card is a great reminder to us all that all things are possible! It doesn’t matter what you are currently juggling because you can handle it… and if stressed or worried about it, ask you angels, or guides, the Divine, to step in and help. You can ask for support, guidance or maybe even someone to delegate some tasks to so you can free up some time, energy and space to allow you to dream of impossible things and create them so they become possible and part of your reality. ;0)
__________
So with that my lovelies… I encourage you to go and create something (anything)! Use those nervous energies to propel you forward and make something with them. Focus your attention on things you want to put more energy into… explore outside your comfort zones so you can find new magical beings and talents… because by believing in impossible things, all things become possible!!
Lots of love, hugs and peace to you all!! I hope wherever you are that good energies and wonderful opportunities are coming your way this spring!
Take care,
Brandy Marie :0)
