As some of you may know, I have recently started a Podcast with a good friend of mine, Sarah. We are both very interested in the spiritual realm, crystals and wanting to live in and share some good vibrations. So together we decided to start our new podcast to share our experiences, as well as our different perspectives, of the spiritual journey and the “witchy” aspects in our lives. I thought it would be fun to do a little Q & A with her so we could all get to know Sarah a little more. Below is my “interview” with her. :0)
________________________________________________________
Brandy (B): What kind of spiritual experiences have you experienced?
Sarah (S):I have seen and felt ghosts. Once in a meditation I met one of my spirit guides who had the head of a lion.
Brandy (B): A head of a lion?! That is very cool!
Sarah (S): It is! Also, in October I started meditating nightly before bed again and I do this nearly every night now. I try to work with the moon cycles and do a new and full moon ritual, but it doesn’t always happen.
B: Good for you! How do receive messages from your Guides?
S: I get the numbers (synchronicities) like a lot of people do. But the most common ones for me is through music and dreams.
(B): I get a lot of messages (downloads) through music and dreams too. I find I have very vivid dreams most nights, LOL! I know some people do meditating as well to communicate with their Guides, and another is during a Reiki session. I know you are a Reiki Healer. What got you into that originally?
(S): I got interested after I tried my first healing session and then after that I had to learn how to do it to help myself more and my family. What I enjoy most is being able to help give people a little peace and calm in their otherwise busy days.
B: I can absolutely relate to that! Definitely nice to have moments of calm (and quiet) when able to carve that out. I’m sure your family and clients appreciate you offering that space for them, too. I know you also offer readings. Which decks do you use? And what type of spread do you do?
(S): I typically reach for the Tarot deck first as I have been using them the longest. I find the spread depends on the time limit, however I tend to do the Celtic Cross (10 card spread), as I like how that hits most points (for questions wanting answered). Then for clarifying I will often reach for the Oracle deck to really hit the point home.
B: Very cool and very good idea to use different decks to get a general overall message as well as adding other cards to clarify different points. How about using crystals? Do you have a favourite?
S: One of my favourite crystals is tiger’s eye. I love the colours and the way the colours play together. I also love that it is a stone of
protection. Another is citrine. I don’t normally go for anything in the colour yellow but I love citrine and how cool it looks and the fact that it helped me pass many tests in high school, LOL.
B: Those are definitely great stones! I also love tiger’s eye for protection, and that’s awesome that citrine helped you with your tests. Good to share that too, thank you. Crystals can easily be added into everyday life. :0)
B: You and I are both tarot readers. Do you have any tips for people who are interested in learning to read Tarot?
S: Honestly the best way to learn the tarot is to pick up a deck and start looking at the cards. I would recommend reading and learning from as many different people with different backgrounds as you can and don’t just believe anything you see and hear.
B: That is a very good point you bring up! Definitely a good idea to see how various people read the cards, especially since some readers do it more intuitively whereas others follow one understanding per card. Speaking of the Tarot, I believe you have a course in it?
S: Yes, I do. I have a “Learn to Read the Tarot” course, as well as a Tarot journal. In case anyone is interested, a copy of this can be purchased with this course, too.
B: That’s great to hear! And bravo for creating those! The links to that information is below for anyone who is interested. :0)

B: On a more personal note, My readers are aware of the fact that I struggle with anxiety, depression and other health conditions. If you are comfortable sharing, do you experience any mental or physical health challenges?
S: I resisted taking anti-anxiety meds for so long after finding out I had it, and when I finally decided to take the meds it changed my life. I feel so much better on my meds. So I want to say I know it feels scary and like you have failed somehow but taking the meds makes you stronger than your mental health issues and can really help in so many ways. As for physical health I want to acknowledge that under-eating is a huge problem in life these days with all the diet crazes out there and I want to say it is okay to eat a big meal, just make sure it is foods you know your body will want and can handle.
B: Thank you for sharing that. And I appreciate you being open about the medications. Not everyone can take meds (for various reasons), but it is good to know that by taking them it doesn’t mean you’ve “failed” in any way. I think eating in general plays a lot into mental health as well, whether it’s over-eating or under-eating. So it’s always important to be aware of making sure to eat things that help the body feel and function better… and of course, if and when can, spoil yourself a little. I think it’s important to note here too that if anyone is struggling with mental or physical health to please check in with your doctor. There is no shame in asking for help, and in fact you are stronger in doing so.
Now… on a less serious note… we love our furry friends here! Could you please share with us about your pets? :0)
S: Sure! I love fur babies! I have 2 large cats. They are a type of Egyptian breed, unofficially LOL. They are siblings named Durante and Amelia. Durante is a sweet snuggly boy who likes to tell you he wants food by biting at plastic and shredding paper. Amelia is a shy girl who snuggles when it suits her and is obsessed with attacking strings. I am so happy I was able to get them from my Aunt who was fostering them as part of an organization.

B: They are gorgeous! And sounds like the have quite the personalities!! Love that! Along with our fur babies, I do like to encourage fun and play as much as I can with my readers. With that said, how do you have FUN?
S: I try to play whenever I can, but lately that has been missing from my life as I am so focused on many growth tasks right now. I love dressing up, doing cosplays, and playing with makeup. I also love acting and I do some work with a couple of local murder mystery groups. But I guess some of my favourite ways to have breaks is to meet up with my favourite people and share meals, drinks, coffee, and stories.
B: I also love playing with makeup! And getting to meet up with friends and share some good food and conversations… absolutely a favourite activity of mine as well! The murder mystery groups sounds like a fun way to be creative too.
B: Now we know you offer readings, but you also create and sell various products. Could you please let us know more about your company, Cauldron Care, and how you came up with the company name.
S: Sure. Cauldron Care came from me trying to combine my bath and body products and my services. I create handmade care products from my cauldron to you. The cauldron also represents the womb and a healing space so I am giving people space to heal and take care of themselves.
B: Wow, that is a very thoughtful name indeed! You mentioned a few of the products you make. Do you have a favourite one?
S: My favourite product that I make is either the Cauldron Candles or my Christmas Stockings.
B: Awesome! Your candles always look so nice and your stockings are super cute.
Now as a little side note… we have started a podcast, called “Between a Book and a Bell”. I am very excited to share our random experiences with spirituality and various witchy activities. What are you most excited about? :0)
S: I am most excited about getting to talk with you more and share the amazing things we do (and chat about) with Others!!
B: Awesome sauce! I do think this will be a fun adventure for us both! ;0)
Should anyone be wanting to connect with you or learn more about your products, and/or courses, where would they find you?
S: I can be found on Social Media as Cauldron Care on Insta, FB, TikTok, Threads, and Youtube. Thanks to anyone who comes and says hi, shares a like or subscribes. It is always appreciated! (And just to make it a little easier for people… I have included Caldron Care’s Logo below).

B: Thanks to Sarah for taking time to answer some questions today and do hope you will check her out. And to all those reading, have a lovely day and see you in my next post, reading, or podcast episode!! :0)
