Why 333?

Honestly, my favourite number ever since I was a kid was the number three! I’ve just always liked it and it’s always held magical powers for me. In numerology each number holds a special meaning. The number 3 is about creativity, communication, wisdom, and being a problem-solver. (For example, when two people are arguing you may bring a third person in to help shift perspectives, to be the “tie breaker”). The number 3 is also used when knocking on wood for good luck! To me this number holds energies of positivity and optimism. It can be seen as joy and good luck! I chose the numbers 333 for my “reading name” because I see it as a reflection of three parts: me, my spirit guides, and the Universe working as a whole. I also see it as the same for my clients… so you, your guides, and the Divine working as a collective to bring about the positive manifestations you are praying, wishing, and hoping for, and working as a group to bring these into fruition.

Numerology plays a big part in regular tarot readings, as well as spirituality in general. I have included some images from some different tarot decks I own (Dark Mansion Tarot and the Light Seer’s Tarot) to give more of a visual as to why the number 3 holds importance for me. I have chosen these cards specifically because of their beautiful artwork and the different energies and feelings that are expressed within each image.

The Empress: this for me is such a beautiful card! The Empress embodies ALL of the Queens (feminine energies) in tarot. She is well-spoken, caring, financially stable and secure and has lots of creativity and passion within her. Sometimes this card can indicate a potential pregnancy, or “birthing” of a new idea. What I enjoy most about this card is that the Empress is boundless with her energies and the world is her oyster. She can go anywhere and do anything she wants to!
Three of Wands: as this image shows, the person has her bags packed and ready for an adventure! She has also made a decision (as you can see from the two signs above her pointing in different directions). This card reminds me that sometimes in life we just need to make a decision and go for it! There is no time to waste! It also reminds me that sometimes we need to get our “sh*t together”, so when the time comes, we are ready to go. (An example of this is getting your passport ready so when it is time to take a vacation, or a big job opportunity comes up, you’re not slowed down because of paperwork). This need for urgency within this particular Three of Wands card is displayed with the chariot in the back and with the woman’s hat looking like it’s about to be blown off. She must hurry before her chariot leaves without her. There are some hills in this picture too… so life will always have some “uphill battles”… but it shouldn’t mean you don’t go for what you want!
3 of Wands: this image is simply to show a comparison and why when I do readings, no matter if I use tarot or oracle cards, I generally do more of an intuitive reading and go off the image more. This one shows more passion with the fire surrounding the person. It also brings about a sense of patience, as if the person is waiting for the right wave to come in. (Wands typically in tarot have to do with passions, desires and creativity. If wanted to attach an astrological sign then it would indicate a fire sign, so Leo, Sagittarius, or Aries). This card to me simply says “I’m ready!” without the anxiety or pressure that comes with the previous image.
Three of Cups: Cups in tarot typically are to do with the emotions (also a water sign: Pisces, Cancer or Scorpio). I chose this image because again I find it is a reminder to enjoy the “fruits of your labour”, to indulge every once in awhile for all the efforts you’ve put into a project, your home, taking care of kids or pets… the 3 of Cups is meant to be a celebration! I enjoy this card because to me, it represents a budding Empress… so if one was to consider The Empress as a Queen (of all Queens), then the 3 of Cups would be the princess. (With some YouTubers the 3 of Cups can be viewed a little more negatively, and some decks do show this card as having three people. So sometimes if it’s a love reading, then it could be a caution about there being a third party involved, a “love triangle”. This is why it is important to look at the image of the card and see what emotions it evokes).
Three of Pentacles: This card is probably one of my favourites! It generally talks about showing off your work, cooperation, and working as a team. This is a good card to get in a reading if asking about a project you’ve been working on because the guides would be saying “now is a good time to share!” Like your boss will take notice. Pentacles are to do with money, finances… more tangible things. So the pentacles in some decks are simply referred to as “coins”. I like this image because it’s as if the painter is able to share his work, his art, with those inside and outside (since he is painting on a window). The 3 of Pentacles is also a card about collaboration. So it could also indicate it being the right time to find your soul tribe, those who will want to work with you and that you would do well to work with them.

333 to me feels joyful, optimistic and fun! This post was not only to explain my reasoning for the number/reading name I chose, but also to explore some tarot cards in a little more depth. I do hope that this was helpful to anyone interested in learning about tarot and/or numerology. This is more my take/ my interpretation on it (because there is a wealth of information on Google!) Ultimately though, 333 is all about putting yourself in a position to communicate with your guides and work with the Universe. By doing so, you are aligning yourself into a better position so you can manifest your dreams for your highest good.

And with that… have an amazing weekend! I look forward to writing more next week!
