Anxiety and depression are what I “fight” with most days. Some days are absolutely better than others, while some days I want to curl into a ball and hide under blankets watching silly cartoon shows, or watch tarot readings in hopes of bringing in some more positive, and uplifting energies. These can be hard days as I want to get moving and do housework, or talk with a friend, take my dog for a walk, or sit down and write another post. The motivation can be there, but the body isn’t willing; or it can be the other way around. On these days, or weeks, I have to continually remind myself that this may be a period of where I’m being “put on hold”, or that my guides are needing me to sit my ass down and be still. It can feel very parental and extremely frustrating, however any time I have looked back on it, I realize it was their way of conserving my energy and helping me gain strength for the next week or month because my schedule would become very busy. It is not meant as a punishment! It is also given as a chance to explore internal pieces of ourselves that we may not want to look at, but need to. This is usually referred to as “shadow work”. Ways you know this is coming, or happening, is because your body starts to have areas that hurt. A lot of people experience more migraines, back pain, jaw pain, etc… it can also signal where keeping feelings shut in.
Below is a short list of ideas for ways to release some of the negative energies, and with the perk of boosting your mood too. ๐
– DANCE around
– SING to music (I hate listening to myself sing. So when no one is home I will put on my headphones and turn the volume up high. This way I can’t even hear myself, and then sing along. However please be careful! Do not hurt your eardrums).
– PAINT (notice what colours you choose when feeling happy vs. sad). This is not an exercise in painting a masterpiece but simply putting colour to paper. Same goes for colouring or dooodling/ drawing.
– WRITE down your feelings, your thoughts. This can be very helpful to get thoughts out of your head and free some brain space for more positive thinking and hopefully even some fun daydreaming ๐
These are only a few ideas and I am sure I will think of others to publish in a later post, LOL! Please also feel free to add your own ideas. You could also bake or make a nice dinner for yourself. It is about being patient and kind with your body and trying to enjoy some more quiet time, rather than feeling like your spirit guides are putting you in a “time out”. They are doing this for your benefit and not a punishment. The body pains can be seen as a “stop sign”, a chance to create a beneficial pause. If you can work with this idea then there is a greater chance of releasing negative attachments to the pains, as well as opening more space for your Guides to come through and give you some uplifting images and peace of mind.
I can now feel a migraine coming on for me as my eyes start to get blurry and can’t fully concentrate on what typing… so hopefully this post helps someone and you can enjoy the rest of your day ๐ bye for now
